Stone Imperial Russian Stout with American Oak on Cask
To celebrate yesterday's release of the 2009 Stone Imperial Russian Stout, we have just tapped a firkin aged with American Oak. Come by the Pint and try a pint of this amazing stout, consistently ranked as one of the best imperial stouts on the market.

Try it alongside another Daily Pint favorite, Port Brewing's Old Viscosity, also available on tap right now (but not on cask).
Also being tapped today is another Stone favorite, a cask of Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean.
And for you hopheads who missed it this weekend, we still have a little of the Bear Republic Apex left, along with some Blind Pig.
Limited Edition Stone Imperial Russian Stout glasses are available for sale at Beer Geek Shop.
Beer List For This Weekend and St. Patricks Day
Tonight we'll be putting on a cask of Stone's Cali-Belgique. As the weekend goes on, we've got a bunch of beers that will be rotating through. One things for certain, right now is a great time for hopheads.
Port Brewing has sent up another keg of Hop-15, which never lasts long, and from Bear Republic we've got Racer 5 and Hop Rod Rye. Also coming in is another keg of Russian River's Blind Pig.
If you haven't tried it yet, this weekend is also a great chance to try Oskar Blues' Gordon, which the brewery describes as a cross between a Double IPA and an Imperial Red.
Rounding out our special taps this weekend are Lost Abbey's Serpent Stout, and Port Brewing's Old Viscosity.
Tuesday the 17th we are putting on some special beers for St. Patricks Day. We'll have Wexford Cream Ale, and three Irish beers from Norcal favorite, Moylan's Brewing.
We'll have their Irish Red, Dragoon Dry Stout, and Tipperary Pale on tap.
(Pictured: Moylan's Brewmaster Denise Jones loves the hops. Loves 'em.)

Weekend Stone Cask Update

Right now we've got Oaked AB on cask, along with some Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean. That stuff never lasts long, so once it's gone, we've got a couple more Stone casks ready to go. Waiting to be tapped are Stone IPA with Amarillo, and the cask version of Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale w/ Columbus hops added (like it really needs more hops). This is a black IPA that was brewed as their 11th Anniversary Ale, but they liked it so much, they thought they'd give it a new name and brew more.
Also, don't forget about tonight's Irish Whisky tasting. If the turnout is anything like December's Single Malt Scotch tasting, you'll want to get here early!
