Victory at Kimchi – Ballast Point and @KogiBBQ This Friday

bp-12-4

Ballast Point is coming to the Pint again this Friday.  Per usual, they aren't screwing around with the beers they're bringing.  On the menu this time: Dorado, Sculpin, Yellowtail, Big Eye, Victory at Sea in cask and keg, and a cask of Calico Amber.  We'll see you after work on Friday.

The Kogi BBQ truck will be LoL-speaking it's way over for some late night eats (OMGWTFBBQ!), so eat a big lunch to tide yourself over til they roll by.

Come in now to help us drain our Stone casks in preparation for this Friday.  Right now they're Arrogant Bastard w/ Amarillo and Smoked Porter w/ American Oak.  Our Double Jack tap has returned to the regularly scheduled Union Jack, Lagunitas left us a Lil Sumpin, and new in Santa Monica, Tiburon Blonde from Marin, and Abita's Jockamo IPA.

LA Beer Week – Ballast Point Returns to the Pint on Friday

The Pint once again welcomes the Ballast Point crew to Santa Monica this Friday for LA Beer Week.  They'll be bringing up some fantastic beers.  This may very well be the first time Los Angeles has seen the holy IPA trinity of Big Eye, Sculpin, and Dorado all on tap at the same time.

Also being tapped are a keg of Bourbon Barrel Aged Sea Monster Stout, and a cask of Bourbon & Chocolate aged Black Marlin Porter.  And if we're lucky, maybe they'll bring some of their spirits along!

Lost Abbey 10 Commandments now on tap

old-grove-ginA big thank you to the guys from Ballast Point who came up last weekend.  You've tried all their beers by now, but did you know they also distill?  Keep an eye out for their Old Grove Gin, which was just released this week.  Ask for it at Beverage Warehouse, Whole Foods, or wherever it is you go to buy good beer.

Created with a blend of 12 freshly crushed botanicals and spices, Old Grove embodies the London Dry style, with an emphasis on subtlety and complexity.

On tap this weekend we've got Lost Abbey's 10 Commandments, a stronger, 9% version of their Lost and Found Abbey Ale.  Also just put on another keg of Dogfish Midas Touch, Racer 5, and Einhorn Brewing's Unikator Doppelbock.

Yesterday we also tapped a fresh firkin of Stone Vanilla Bean Porter, so let's drain that thing tonight!
